Here is our company history in a nut shell:

Company was founded by Paul Vieno Jääskeläinen in 1932 and already in the beginning it included operations with taxis, trucks and buses.

Along the years founder's sons Kalle Jääskeläinen and Matti Jääskeläinen have further developed the business by customizing services to better match the needs of a diversified clientele.

Now in third generation, also Janne Jääskeläinen, son of Matti Jääskeläinen, is working in the company. Over 78 years in business makes Jääskeläisen Auto Oy one of the oldest family business in the area.

Jääskeläisen Auto Oy covers all your transportation needs in the
Kuopio area, including Leppävirta, Varkaus and Tahkovuori. We offer a complete
service of charter busses, limousine service and rental cars, in
addition to our local bus routes.

We have the most diverse and complete fleet of vehicles for you to
choose from.

Large busses seating 45-59 passengers are now complemented with a
limousine and new 8 passenger VIP vans.

Mid size groups are served by Mercedes-Benz Sprinter busses with VIP
custom interiors, each seats 15 passengers.

A little bit larger groups travel comfortably in our tourist coaches
with 30-34 seats, or with a touch of luxury in our 38 seater VIP
congress bus which has a host of amenities like kitchenette, air
conditioning, video and cd players, toilet etc.

For the most memorably occasions like weddings and retirement
parties we have also a theme bus from the sixties. It is completely
restored even with a matching driver's outfit, and can be decorated
to your taste.

Our drivers have years of experience in charter assignments in
additions to our regular routes service. Every employee has
successfully completed a training period customized for each vehicle
type before active duty in our colors.

Our fleet of over 30 vehicles is operated by a dedicated staff of
drivers, and supported by office, maintenance and technical
personnel.

Our office is open Monday-Friday mainly 08.00-16.00. Schools holidays in summer, autumn, winter and spring and differend kind of special holidays may affect our office times. For example in summertime our office is sometimes closed before 16.00.
